Electric Lighting, City, Hill District and Shaukiwan.--- The old agreement with the Hong Kong Electric Co. for electric street lighting expired in 1928 and a new agreement was entered upon in November 1929 for a period of seven years from 1st January 1929; the new rates for street lighting being charged from 1.1.1929.
The numbers and positions of incandescent lamps in the principal roads of the City are as under:-
