M(1)49

The increasing use of Anti-rinderpest Serum by the owners is reducing mortality considerably. The greatest possible benefit is not being derived from the use of serum through delay in its use.

The owners in the past have not kept a stock of serum ready for use although they have been advised to do so.

As a result of the recent experience of the benefits of the use of serum most of the owners are completing arrangements to keep a sufficient stock.

27th March, 1930.

W. J. E. MACKENZIE,

Colonial Veterinary Surgeon.
