136. To Kwa Wan Market (12 stalls).—This work was referred to in paragraph 137 of last year's Report.
The market was completed and handed over to the Sanitary Department early in the year.

137. Public Latrines and Urinals, King's Park.—This work was referred to in paragraph 186 of last year's Report.
Both conveniences were completed and handed over to the Sanitary Department early in the year.

138. Central British School, Additional Class Rooms etc.—The work consisted of the erection of a wooden building on the South side of the playground and adjoining the approach path from Nathan Road to the Observatory.
The building comprised three Classrooms, an Art Room, and a Cloak Room, the whole connected to the existing Classrooms by a Covered Way. Complete new Furniture of local manufacture was supplied.
Twenty-seven fan and light points and four heating points were installed.
The Contractors for the Building, Covered Way, and most of the Furniture were Messrs. Tak Hing & Co.
The work was commenced in May and satisfactorily completed in September.
Estimates, $20,000.00 Expenditure, $13,702.66
139. Lock-up Store, Yaumati Slipway.—The work consists of the erection of a two-storeyed building of brick, with concrete floors and tiled roof, fitted up internally with shelving and racks suitable for the purpose of a Store.
A Contract was let to Messrs. Tat Lee and Co. on the 4th of October, and work was immediately commenced.
