Statements of the Revenue collected by the Department and comparison of Revenue and Expenditure are given in Tables III and IV.

STAFF.

The Superintendent proceeded on leave on March 31st and returned and resumed duty on November 23rd.

The Assistant Superintendent returned from leave and resumed duty on February 3rd and was in charge of the Department during the Superintendent's absence.

Foreman Forester Wong Sin retired on pension on August 31st after nineteen years service.
