NEW TERRITORIES.

193. Buildings for Magnetic Instruments at Au Tau, New Territories. This work was referred to in paragraph 202 of last year's Report.

A 1 K.W. Kerosene Electric Set together with a 60 Ampere Hour 100 Volt Battery was installed in a room at Au Tau Police Station for the purpose of supplying light to the Magnetograph Hut. The total expenditure on electrical work was $2,761.13.

By the end of March the buildings were completed and handed over to the Director of the Royal Observatory.
