The first heavy rains fell in the middle of April when the reservoirs commenced to rise but from then until the 19th July the rains were barely enough to keep pace with the supply. The dry season set in late, the last considerable rain falling on the 15th November.
The maximum quantity of water impounded in all the reservoirs during the year amounted to 2,118 million gallons on 23rd July, this being the same as last year.
The total quantity of water remaining in the reservoirs at the end of the year amounted to 1,648 million gallons.
The total quantity of water pumped from Tytam Tuk Reservoir during the year amounted to 1,276.76 million gallons, 1,111.89 million gallons being pumped by the new Simpson Engines and 164.87 million gallons by the Tangye Engines. This total is less than last year's total by 236.16 million gallons.

The following is a statement of the cost of pumping during 1925 and 1926:-
