ENTERIC AND PARATYPHOID FEVERS.

The total of cases of these diseases notified during 1925 was 163 of which 154 were cases of Enteric Fever and 9 of Paratyphoid Fever.

The cases of local origin were 132 being 100 cases of Enteric Fever and 4 cases of Paratyphoid Fever amongst the Chinese and 25 cases of Enteric and 3 of Paratyphoid Fevers, amongst the Non-Chinese population.

There were 8 Chinese and 18 Non-Chinese imported cases of Enteric Fever and 3 Chinese cases from the New Territory.

There were 2 Non-Chinese imported.

2 Non-Chinese cases of Paratyphoid Fever.
