106. Government Stores Extension.—This work consists of :-

(a.) Covering the existing Store at the South end of the yard with a reinforced concrete roof carried on concrete piers,

(b.) The erection of a brick store for oil and cement

adjacent to the Main Store Building,

For these two items of work, a contract was let to Messrs. Yee Lee & Co. in September, and by the end of the year the work was almost completed.

108. Garage – Stubbs Road. This work was referred to in paragraph 115 of last year's Report.

Satisfactory progress was made during the year, the building being completed in July. A certain amount of work was subse- quently required to be done owing to trouble with the bank at the rear of the site. This work, which consisted of facing the bank with granite, was nearing completion at the end of the year.
