# PREPARATION OF VARIOUS VACCINES.

The number of autogenous vaccines prepared for use in the various Government institutions has more than doubled the output of any previous year.

T. A. B. vaccine 1020 doses were supplied to the Naval and Military authorities, exclusive of the usual supply to Government institutions etc. Cholera vaccine 250 doses were supplied to the Naval authorities. Meningococcus vaccine 500 doses were supplied for emigrants.

These are reported in detail in a separate report Annexe O.

# MEDICO LEGAL WORK.

214 cases were dealt with including post-mortems and examinations of materials for blood, spermatozoa, etc.

The above cases necessitate the personal attendance of the Government Bacteriologist in the Supreme Court, Magistrate and Coroner's Courts for the purpose of giving expert medical evidence.
