The Kwong Wah Hospital.-The Visiting Medical Officer was Dr. W. B. A. Moore. The Chinese Medical Officers were K. W. Ip, M.B., B.S. and K. K. Wong, M.B., B.S. The latter resigned in April and H. K. Lin, M.B., B.S. was appointed in his place. In November Mrs. Hickling was appointed to assist Dr. Moore as Visiting Medical Officer by taking charge of the maternity ward. During the short time she has been in charge she has effected many improvements. The maternity cases have been moved to another and larger ward, which has been repainted and a new labour ward provided. New hospital clothing has also been provided for these patients. Miss Alice Cheung, the midwife in charge, resigned in November and Miss Sin Chi Cheung was appointed in her stead with Miss Yung Koon To to assist her. Both have been trained at Kuala Lumpur. Three probationer nurses have also been attached to the ward for training in maternity work.
