(e.) Police Headquarters (Central Police Station).-A new grilled enclosure was built for exhibits of firearms, &c. Filing cabinets and sundry office furniture were also provided.
(f.) Caine Road Police Quarters.-Lavatory basins were installed. A children's playground was constructed adjoining the Quarters.
(g.) General Post Office.--New sorting tables were supplied. (h.) Mount Parish Quarters.-W. Cs. (native pattern) were installed to servants' quarters.

(m.) Imports and Exports Office.--Alterations and improvements were carried out in connection with the removal of the Chemical Laboratory from the Opium Factory and the installation thereof at the I. & E. Head Office.

(o.) West End Park Quarters.—A Chunam Tennis Court was constructed and fence erected.
(p.) Happy Valley Quarters.--W. Cs. (native pattern) were installed to servants' quarters.
(q.) Leighton Hill Quarters.-W Cs. (native pattern) were installed to servants' quarters. A fence was constructed around Tennis Courts.
(r.) Warders Quarters, Victoria Gaol.-A Trough Closet was erected in the yard and geysers installed to bathrooms.
(s.) Chair Coolie Quarters, Peak.—General improvements were carried out and seventy double iron bunks provided.
(t.) Traffic Motor Signs. Several of these signs were erected throughout the Island for the better control of the traffic.
(u.) Wongneichong Recreation Grounds.-Plot A1, which is allotted to the Police Club, was, with the exception of the area used for lawn bowls, returfed throughout to new levels.
(v.) Magazine Gap Road.-Wrought iron pipe railing with reinforced concrete stanchions, was erected to give protection to dangerous portions of this road.
(w.) Sookunpoo Recreation Grounds.-A barbed wire fencing with reinforced concrete stanchions was erected on the North side thereof.
