(v.) Road 20 feet wide, skirting North side of Hills from Wanchai Gap to Magazine Gap.—The connection to the Craigmin Road referred to in paragraph 101 (j) was made by the end of September, the corner below R.B.L. 37 being cut back and the approach path to Forebank East and West realigned and graded. Cutting was commenced at the junction of Wongneichong Gap Road, the excavated material being utilized to bring to formation level the proposed road on the West side of Wongneichong Village leading from the Wongneichong Road to the Jewish Cemetery.

The No. 1 Bridge, near the junction with Garden Road, was widened to 30 feet and the carriageway made up and surfaced with sand carpeting.
