The total quantity of water pumped from Taitam Tuk Reservoir during the year amounted to 1,276.28 million gallons, 826.15 million gallons being pumped by the new Simpson Engines and 450.13 million gallons by the Tangye Engines. This total surpasses last year's by 544.56 million gallons.
The following is a comparative statement of the cost of pumping during 1918 and 1919:
