This Branch Post Office which was established in 1914 has thoroughly justified its existence during the past year which is the first complete year for which statistics are available. The following mails were despatched and received during the year :—

9.—WANTSAI DISTRICT BRANCH POST OFFICE.
On March 1st, 1915, a Branch Post Office similar to the one in the Western District situated at Sai-Ying-Pun was opened in the Eastern District of the City of Victoria at Wantsai where building on a large scale has been in progress for some time and where the population is increasing rapidly. That a branch office in this District was required is shown by the statistics for the 10 months of 1915.
