165. During the absence on leave of Mr. Chatham, (3rd March to 30th December), Mr. A. F. Churchill acted as Director of Public Works; the duties of 1st and 2nd Assistant Directors being performed by Mr. C. H. Gale and Mr. A. H. Hollingsworth respectively.
