127. The chief changes of importance in the staff were the departure of Mr. P. N. H. Jones, 1st Assistant Director of Public Works, on promotion to the Gold Coast Colony, the appointment of Mr. A. F. Churchill to the vacancy thus caused, and the appointment of two additional Assistant Engineers (one for the Harbour of Refuge Works) and two additional Surveyors.
