The balance of the contribution paid by the Military Authorities towards the cost of the road from Kowloon City to Shatin Pass, amounting to $8,332.00, has been deducted from the actual expenditure in the figures given in Annexe B, thus making the expenditure appear as $60,199.85.
85. Forming and Kerbing Streets.-The following is a statement of the works executed under this heading, except those of a trifling nature. The sum stated is in some cases only a part of the cost owing to the work extending into more than one year :—
