Calls attention to the necessity for ac- celerating the investigation of the disease, and asks for approval of the proposed increase in the medical staff. Transmits copy of No. 1; suggests that the Egyptian Government should be invited to contribute towards the cost of the investigations proposed, and to co-operate in the manner proposed by the Royal Society. Transmite copies of Nos. 7 and 8, and requests that, apart from the pro- posed increase in the medical staff, the various recommendations of the Royal Society may be carried out.
