NOTE. This course of lectures is designed for use primarily in the Eastern Colonies. It is intended that the lectures should be of a simple character, such as may be given to classes at the top of elementary schools, or, with some modifications, to adult hearers. The journey is made to start only from Colombo; but slides can be added, if required, making the starting point Singapore or Hongkong. Among the slides it might be possible to reproduce in some cases well known pictures of particular scenes.
