Suggests that the French Government might be informed that His Majesty's Government regard sugar refined in Hong Kong as entitled to the privileges of Article V. of the Con- vention, whatever may have been the country of origin, countries glving bounties on the production or ex- portation of raw sugar excepted.
Confirms No. 12 states that the infor- mation asked for in No. 6 will be forwarded as soon as it is obtained,
