Approves of the increase of the sterling salary of second-class Inspectors of Police in Hong Kong from £180 to £200 a year, and that of thirl-class Inspectors from £170 to £180 a year.

Approves of recommendations in No. 73 respecting the increase of salaries, but agrees that the special dollar allow- unce is not desirable.
