received in evidence in every court of justice in Her Majesty's dominions without further proof, and shall be primâ facie evidence of the facts therein set forth.
10. Every prisoner removed to the United King- dom under this Act shall, as soon as conveniently may be after his arrival, be delivered into the custody of the keeper of such prison as a Secretary of State directs, and shall undergo therein the term of penal servitude or of imprisonment with or with- out hard labour specified in the order of the Secre- tary of State, and shall be subject to the same laws and regulations, and shall be dealt with in the same manner in all respects, as if such term of penal servitude or imprisonment had been imposed by the sentence of a court of competent jurisdiction in the United Kingdom.
11. Every prisoner removed to any possession under this Act, shall, as soon as conveniently may be after his arrival, be delivered into the custody of the keeper of such prison as the Governor of such possession directs, and shall undergo therein the term of penal servitude or imprisonment with or without hard labour specified in the order of the Secretary of State, and shall be subject to the same laws and regulations and be dealt with in the same manner in all respects as if such term of penal servitude or imprisonment had been imposed by the sentence of a court of competent jurisdiction in such possession.
lla. Every criminal lunatic removed to the United Kingdom under this Act shall, as soon as conveniently may be after his arrival, be de- livered into the custody of the keeper of such prison, or the superintendent or officer in charge of such asylum for criminal lunatics, as a Secretary of State directs, and shall be subject to the same laws and regulations, and shall be dealt with in the same manner in all respects, as if he had been indicted for an offence in the United Kingdom and found insane, and had thereby become subject to the provisions of the Act of the Session holden in

the 39th and 40th years of King George the Third, Chapter 94.
1lb. Every criminal lunatic removed to any possession under this Act shall, as soon as con- veniently may be after his arrival in such possession, be delivered into the custody of the keeper of such prison, or the officer in charge of such asylum, as the Governor of such possession directs, and shall thenceforth be subject to the same laws and regula- tions, and shall be dealt with in the same manner in all respects, as if he had been indicted for or charged with an offence in a court of competent jurisdiction in such possession, and had been acquitted or not tried on the ground of insanity.
11c. Every criminal lunatic returned under this Act to the possession from which he was removed, shall, on his arrival in such possession, be dealt with in the same manner as if he had not been removed therefrom.

his leaving his prison or asylum in the place from moval. which he is removed or returned to the time of his reaching his prison or asylum in the place to which he is removed or returned, be deemed being a prisoner to be undergoing his sentence and being a prisoner or criminal lunatic to be in the legal custody of the person or persons empowered to remove or to return him, and to be subject to the same restraint, and in the event of misbehaviour to the same punishment as if he had continued in prison or in an asylum for criminal lunatics as the case may be, and as if the person or persons empowered to remove or to return him were the gaoler or gaolers of such prison or the officer or officers in charge of such asylum; and if he escape or attempt to escape from such custody such prisoner or criminal lunatic, and every person aiding or attempting to aid him in such escape, and every person entrusted with his custody who shall by wilful neglect or culpable carelessness permit him to escape, shall be subject to the same punish-
