MESSRS. GLANVILL, ENTHOVEN AND COMPANY to OVERSEA PRIZE DISPOSAL COMMITTEE. DEAR SIR,
17, Gracechurch Street, London, E.C., 24th March, 1915. REFERRING to the writer's conversation with Mr. Tennyson this morning, we beg to advise that we have added to the cover taken out on behalf of the Prize Court in London the following clause, which will fully protect you should a cargo in which you are interested be forwarded from a port before an insurance has been effected :-
"It is agreed to extend the above cover to accept all interest which the Colonial Office have authority or instructions to insure on their own behalf or on behalf of the various Colonial Prize Courts.
"It is also agreed in all cases that, in the event of part interest being already insured, the premium on such amount shall not be payable to the underwriters."
We are, &c.,
GLANVILL, ENTHOVEN AND COMPANY. [NOTE.-The cover was subsequently extended to include cargo seized at oversea ports under His Majesty's Order in Council of the 11th March, 1915.]
