STATEMENT SHOWING THE POSITION OF THE OVERSEA SHIPS DEPOSIT ACCOUNT

I/We agree to manage the above steamer (now at

for account and at the expense and risk of the Admiralty and under the direction and control of the Oversea Prize Disposal Committee.

My/Our engagement as manager is to commence as soon as I/we receive instructions from the Admiralty, through the Oversea Prize Committee, and to continue until the completion of the homeward voyage, and my/our duties are to be those customarily devolving upon steamship managers, subject always to the instructions of the Admiralty, through the Oversea Prize Disposal Committee.

1/We also agree to take all possible steps to ensure that the master strictly obeys all Admiralty instructions in the same way that masters of vessels which are insured under the Government War Risks Insurance Scheme are required to do.
