Reports further upon the prospects of the ending of the boycott, and upon the imposition of a "tem- porary internal tax," the rumoured removal of Mr. Ch'ên, and the movements of strike pickets at Sham Chun and Lok-ma-chau
Reports upon the issue of a manifesto by the Strikers' Unions relieving the pickets of their duties at noon on 10th October, the support given to the boycott move- ment by the Kuo-min-tang, and a demonstration mass meeting on 10th October in celebration of the National Festival Day of the Chinese Republic.
