"The delay in the completion of this contract was due to the fact that I was obliged to reject nearly all the 18 in. pipes, and a large quantity of the 12 in. and 15 in. pipes."

The order for tickets was a large one, and the time taken in actually making theat was not excessive. Some 12 days were lost in waiting for shipment, but no blame appears to attach to anyone on this account.

It took 18 days for the indent to reach

us and 29 days for the goods to get out so that we actually took 9 weeks to execute the order.
