Forwards copy of instructions sent to the Commander-in-Chief regarding the measures to be taken in nection with the storage of fuel at Singapore, and states that any negotia- tions with the Dock Board will be conducted on an ordinary business footing; agrees to waive the proposal for the appointment of a Naval repre- sentative on the Dock Board.

Requests authority to employ Mesars. Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths, and Com- pany, in connection with the possible examination by the Court of Arbitra- tion of the balance sheet of the Com- pany.

Forwards Mr. Bannerman's claim for expenses incurred in connection with reporting the proceedings of the Arbitration, and recommends that the claim should be met subject to the deduction of £42 for trans- cribing.
