individual workers for generous assistance in providing exhibits, and especially to Miss E. J. Welsford, Mycologist, Zanzibar, for invaluable help in arranging them.
Imperial Mycological Conference.
This was the chief event of the year in the history of the Bureau, and its success may perhaps best be judged by the fact that a resolution was unanimously carried recommending that similar conferences be held every five years.
During the Conference the Bureau was inspected by all the mycological delegates, and various suggestions were made for improving its usefulness. The most important of these were made the subject of special resolutions of the Conference and thus came before the last meeting of the Managing Committee. It is hoped to be able to report the steps taken to give effect to them at the next meeting of the Committee.
The report of the Conference has already been considered at the meeting of the Managing Committee held for the purpose on 2nd October last, and it only remains to say that the Bureau is indebted to the Stationery Office for their promptness in printing it and to Mr. Wiltshire for the summary of the discussions contained in Appendix I to the report.
