Transmite copy of a Memorandum by the Acting Principal Medical Officer reporting an outbreak of sleeping sickness in the Mwanza District, and states that Governor of Uganda has been asked to allow Dr. Lyndhurst-Duke to proceed to the affected area to conduct investigations to determine specific type of infection. Reports that Mr. Swynnerton has been sent to the District to inaugurate a campaign against tsetse flies, and transmite a report by that official in which a thorough study of taeise fly problem is suggested
