Government House, Hong Kong, 4th June, 1915. WITH reference to my despatch of the 14th January,* I have the honour to enclose copies of letters from the Chief Manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation reporting further remittances of £7,000 and £2,000 for the Prince of Wales's Fund.

THE undersigned have much pleasure in sending you, as Treasurer to the Prince of Wales's National Relief Fund, a draft of two hundred pounds sterling (£200), the equivalent at to-day's rate of exchange of two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) subscribed as a first instalment to the fund by His Honour the Com- missioner and British residents at Weihaiwei.
