States that the Army Council grate- fully accept the offer of a general hospital, the composition of which should, in accordance with recognized establishment, be as stated.

Reports payment to the National Com- mittee for Relief in Belgium of £7,000 as a further contribution from South Australia for the relief of Belgians in Belgium.

States that a New South Wales organi- zation called the "Citizens' War Chest Fund has sent to London three motor ambulances, with in- structions that three more should be built in England; the donors wish the ambulances to be used with the Australian forces operating in the East; suggests that represents- tions be made to the War Depart- ment as to the transport of the ambulances to the front.

Asks, in reply to No. 14, that an expression of the grateful thanks of His Majesty's Government may be conveyed to the donors.

Offers for service in Europe one siege artillery brigade (heavy); personal equipment and horses would be sent, but no guns.
