Informs them of the organisation of the International Health Commission, and of the good work which has been done by Mr. Rose, the Director of the Commission, in America in connexion with the eradication of ankylosto- miasis; states that Mr. Rose contem- plates a visit to the West Indian Colonies during the coming winter; and requests that all facilities may be given him in his investigations there, and that particulars of the prevalence and distribution of the disease in the Colony may be prepared.

Transrita copies of No. 8, the terms of which were approved by Mr. Rose.
Forwards a copy of a report by the Chief Medical Officer on the pre- valence of ankylostomiasis, and pro- mises every assistance to the Director or any other representative of the Commission should they decide to visit the Colony.
Transmits a copy of No.3; understands that the Director proposes to visit Ceylon after visiting the West Indies and Egypt; and requests that par- ticulars for Ceylon may be prepared as indicated in No. 3.
Forwards particulars of ankylostomiasis in British Guiana, and states that Mr. Rose will be afforded every assistance in his investigation.
Forwards reports showing the preva- lence of ankylostomiasis and measures which have been taken to eradicate it and states that this information will be furnished to Mr. Rose on his arrival, and every facility afforded him for his enquiry.

Reports the arrival, on the 10th October, of Mr. Rose, who was given overy facility; and forwards minutes and reporta by Dr. Hutson and Dr. John- son giving particulars as to the existence of ankylostomiasis in Bar- bados.
Encloses copies of letters to the Governors of Trinidad, the Windward Islands, and Antigua, summarising the results of his visit to those islands and making proposals for a campaign against ankylostomiasis; and suggests that the Advisory Committee might be extremely helpful in the selection of men for the work in the various Colonies.
