Concurs in the proposal for a Conference of official entomologists and states that the Government Entomologist will attend, and has submitted a further subject for discussion. Forwards report by the Government Bacteriologist summarising up to 31st August the results obtained in the investigation of the distribution of mosquitoes in Hong Kong.
Regrets that it will not be possible for Mauritius to be represented at the proposed Conference of Entomolo- gists; encloses a Bulletin of the Agri- cultural Department containing a summary of the existing legislation against plant pests.

Proposes, in reply to No. 137, to make provision for Mr. Fiske's salary, &c., in 1915-16 on the Uganda Estimates for that year, funds being available from Nyasaland up to 31st March, 1915; defers decision as to carrying out the experiments proposed pending the receipt of Mr. Fiske's final report and an estimate of the expenditure in- volved; adds that there is no "central fund" from which the expenditure could be met.
