Bermuda, Miscel- laneous.

April 25

States that he has conveyed the thanks of the Committee to his Ministers as requested in No. 68 for the facilities afforded to Mr. Fisher in the Common- wealth.

Regrets, in reply to No. 93, that they are not prepared to incur any further outlay in connection with the series until they see to what extent the scheme is likely to be adopted, as up to the present the sales of the three volumes already issued have been very disappointing.

Observes that the book on the West Indies is essential to complete the series, and that the Committee feel bound to proceed with it forthwith, and states that one more volume only (on East, West and Central Africa) would be needed to finish the course.

States that arrangements have been made for the preparation of a set of lantern lectures on British possessions in the West Indies, in Central and South America, and in the Western Atlantic Ocean, and requests his help. by supplying photographs,

(Rec. April 28) Encloses lists of photographs required

to illustrate the lectures stated.
