On behalf of the Committee of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, I beg to make formal application for a renewal, in 1914, of the grant made to the school in the present year, viz.: £1,200, to be used solely for research purposes.
The Committee of the school desire me to point out again that the gift from the estate of the late Sir Alfred Jones is allocated by the executor for building purposes only, and no portion thereof will be available for the research work of the school.
