13th May, 1912. SIR PATRICK MANSON has informed me that he has sent you the reports of the Entomologist, Helminthologist, and Protozoologist. These reports were sent out for examination by the Sub-Committee in regard to the special Departments, but as Sir Patrick Manson heard that you were desirous to have them as soon as possible he sent them in without further delay. I shall be glad if you will accept them in the ordinary way and lay them before the Tropical Diseases Research Fund Committee.
I have pleasure in sending you herewith the accounts of the various depart- ments made out in the usual form, together with the Annual Report of the Seamen's Hospital Society,* on pages 50 to 53 of which you will find the audited balance sheets in regard to these departments.
I think it will interest you to know that last session was the largest on record, there having been 65 students in attendance.
