A proclamation dated 13th October, 1908, has been issued by the Commonwealth Government prohibiting the importation of the plumage or skins of any non-edible bird, the exportation of which has been officially notified by the Governor-General to be prohibited by the country of origin.

New South Wales.—Act No. 26 of 1901 provides that no person shall from August 1st to January 31st, kill, capture, sell, offer for sale, or have in his possession for that purpose the following birds :-
