States that the Royal Society have agreed to supervise auch further researches 18 may be undertaken at the Labora- tory in Uganda, including the inves- tigations proposed to be entrusted to Dr. Carpenter, for whom the Royal Society's Committee are drawing up a scheme of investigation.

Encloses statements of the expenditure on the special departments of the School and explains the differences between the amounts shown in them in regard to helminthology and proto- zoology and those shown in the Annual Report.

Reports that provision has been made in the Federal Estimates of £75 as a contribution to the London School of Tropical Medicine and £25 as con- tribution to the Tropical Diseases Research Fund, the arrangement to last for three years.

Encloses an account showing the dis- posal of the Government grant for 1909.

Transmits the report of the work done in the Nairobi Laboratory for the half year ending 31st December, 1909, together with a covering letter froni the Principal Medical Officer.

Acknowledges the receipt of No. 26 and states that the Crown Agents have been authorised to pay over the sums voted.

Reports as to the work done under the leadership of Dr. 1. Sambou in the investigation of Pellagra, and asks that the promised contribution of £150 may now be paid in order to enable Dr. Sambon to continue his investigations.

Transmits copy of a despatch on the subject of malaria from the Lieutenant- Governor of Papua, enclosing copies of memorauda by Dra. Simson and Goldsmith.
