Colony for each complete year of pensionable service in the Colony.

(b) Where in part or the whole of the other public service the pension scale is the fiftieth scale or a fortieth scale there may be granted an addition to the pension chargeable on the revenues of the Colony under (2) which shall be computed on the basis of one-three-hundredth part as above mentioned on the same principle as the pension computed under (2) but only pensionable service on the fiftieth and fortieth scales shall be taken into account and if the officer did not finally retire from service on either of those scales his pension- able emoluments at the date of his final transfer from such service shall be taken instead of those at the date of his final

retirement.

(c) Where in part or the whole of the other public service the pension scale is a fiftieth scale, there may be granted :-

-

(i) an addition to the pension chargeable on the revenue of the Colony under (2) which shall be computed on the basis of one-three-hundredth part (being the difference between one- fiftieth part and one-sixtieth part) of the said pensionable emoluments on the same principle as the pension computed under (2) but only pensionable service on the fiftieth and fortieth scales shall be taken into account and if the officer did not finally retire from service on either of those scales his pensionable emoluments at the date of his final transfer from such service shall be taken instead of those at the date of his final retirement; and

(ii) a further addition which shall be computed on the basis of one-two- hundredth part (being the difference between one-fortieth part and one- fiftieth part) of the said pensionable emoluments on the same principle as the pension computed under (2) but only pensionable service on the fortieth scale shall be taken into account and if the officer did not finally retire from service on that scale his pensionable emoluments at the date of his final transfer from such service shall be taken instead of those at the date of his final retirement.
