MR. P. MICHELLI (LONDON SCHOOL OF TROPICAL MEDICINE) to MR. A. B. KEITH.
DEAR MR. KEITH,
(Received 20 March, 1908.)
Seamen's Hospital, Greenwich, S.E., 19 March, 1908.
In accordance with the request contained in your letter of the 12th instant, I have the pleasure to send you a detailed statement in regard to the three Depart- ments at the London School of Tropical Medicine financed from the Research Fund.
You will observe that there is an adverse balance on the Department of Arthropodology. You will remember that the School asked the Research Fund to make a grant towards the equipment of the laboratory. As the fund did not feel justified in doing this, we have had to do our best to provide Colonel Alcock with suitable equipment. This is not quite all we could wish, but I hope it is efficient and that we may see our way to improve it as times goes on.
