Transmits copies of despatches from the Administrator of Dominica and the Commissioners of Montserrat and the Virgin Islands and of minute by the Acting Chief Government Medical Officer, Antigua, on the subject of the reports of the Schools of Tropical Medicine and of the Laboratory at Hong Kong.

States that Lord Crewe has approved a recommendation of the Committee that the sum of £400 should be paid as a contribution from the Research Fund towards the establishment of the Australian School of Tropical Medicine at Townsville; and conveys his Lordship's wishes for the success and prosperity of the school.

Acknowledges the receipt of No. 59, and states that the question of the disposal of the unexpended balance of the grant for 1907-8 will be brought before the Committee at its meeting in May, 1909; and that in the mean- time instructions to pay the amount of the grant for 1908-1909 have been given to the Crown Agents.
