Reports his arrival at Quebec on July 30, his meeting with Mr. Mackinder, and as to his subsequent and future move- ments.

September 19 Requests to be supplied with a copy of the Indian edition of Mr. Mackinder's lectures on the United Kingdom and a complete set of lantern slides for the use of the Governor-General of the North-Western Frontier Province.

States that there is no objection to the inclusion of Sarawak in the pro- gramnie, and promises to give every assistance.

September 23 Acknowledges the receipt of No. 4 and promises to supply the articles requisitioned therein.

States progress made in the preparation of illustrated lectures on the Colonies for use in the schools of the United Kingdom, and asks that facilities may be given in Newfoundland to Mr. Fisher similar to those accorded to him in India und Canada.
