Agrees to increase the annual grant to the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine from Imperial Funds from £500 to £1,000 for the remainder of the period of five years from April 1st, 1903, on the conditions specified.

Acknowledges receipt of No. 53 and states that the recommendations made will receive due consideration.

Notifies increase of the grant from Imperial Funds from £500 to £1,000 per annum from April 1st, 1908; and that a sum of £250 in respect of the period from October 1st, 1907, to May 31st, 1908, may also be allotted.

Forwards copies of memoranda and communications received from medi- cal officers, setting forth recommen- dations suggested by the reports enclosed in No. 41.
