1. The Nandi Expedition, 1905-6.
The Council considered a despatch from the Governor of the East Africa Protectorate, dated the 26th June, 1908, recommending that the Africa General Service Medal with clasp should be granted for the further operations in the Nandi country from the 27th February, 1906, to the 6th July, 1906.

A despatch, dated the 11th June, 1908, from the Acting Governor of Northern Nigeria reporting on these operations was considered by the Council. The operations were not deemed of sufficient importance to warrant the Council in recommending that the despatch should be published in the "Gazette," or that a medal should be granted; but it was decided to recommend that Lieutenant (local Captain) G.
