In addition to the above Form, information respecting the intention for which the light is exhibited, the dangers it is intended to avoid, the position of the lighthouse in respect to some known point, or, if possible, a tracing from an Admiralty chart of a mail portion of the adjacent coast, with the position of the lighthouse (giving the number of the chart), the position, colour and description of the keeper's dwelling, and any information that may be of use to the navigator, will be of much service.
