Reports that the sentence on Edmund Hewavitarane, convicted by court martial for treason, is not yet pro- mulgated pending a reply to No. 19; a London solicitor has been in- structed to apply to the Privy Coun. cil for special leave to appeal; pre- sumes Colonial Office will oppose the application.
