Aloe Fibres.

We should lose the Triolet and Mont Choisy traffic, and be left with 390 tons @ Rs. 4 minus 78c, for North line expenses.

The only sugar to be carried would be 1,500 tons from "Union Ribet." Distance from town via Poudre d'Or 20 miles. Rate 3.30 cs. Deduct 78 os. for 13 miles on North line. Net rate

The canes of Mont Choisy and Triolet would not take advantage of the line stopping at " The Vale." Large districts would not be served by the new line, so that the expected in- crease of cane cultivation would be much smaller than with the original complete. scheme.
