To amend and consolidate the Laws relative to Immigra-
tion and the Labour Laws of Mauritius.

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Council of Government, as follows:

CHAPTER II.
INTERPRETATION OF TERMS.

4. In this Ordinance the term " Governor" shall Governor. mean His Excellency the Governor, or any Lieu- tenant Governor or other officer administering the government of Mauritius, in the absence of the Governor from the limits of his government, or any officer to whom the powers of the Governor shall have been delegated by the Governor, whilst out of the Colony, but still within the limits of his govern-
ment.
