I HAVE the honour to report, that under the authority conveyed to me by your Lordship's telegram of the 3rd February, I have authorised the Treasurer to sell bills upon the Crown Agents in the local Market for a sum of 10,000, and that in all probability it may ere long become again necessary to draw upon the Agents for s similar sum.

2. It is not possible to raise money in the local Market at so low a rate of interest, as four per centre
