decision upon the request made by the Com- pany to pay a royalty instead of rent until he has consulted Governor Hennessy, whose arrival in England is shortly expected

Reporting upon the inquiry contained in Colo- nial Office letter of the 26th September, re- specting the arrears of rent and royalty dus to the Crown by the Company, and inclosing a statement of the amount owing ... –

Instructing them to inform the Company that Lord Kimberley's letter of the 12th July was not intended to intimate that the Com- pany should be relieved from the payraent of the rent due, but merely referred to a possi- bility of its future reduction
